Our purpose is to tell the story of mineration, sharing the history and  spirit of partnership and sociability between the miners that worked here.

This activity will show  a very unique scenario that will never be forgotten.

You will feel like a true “miner” in  a “journey in time”.

Magical and appealing, which awakens the curiosity and attention. Within the various galleries you can see bridges, lake, mining assets, rails originals for the wagons, the grandeur of the various ventilation chimneys, a mining bar inside a gallery, several excavation levels/galleries with large volumetry, the observation of mineralized hydrothermal quartz veins from Volframite (Wolframium) and Cassiterite (Tin), geological faults, you will see the demonstration of  various functions of the miners, the scenarios and artifacts.

Our purpose is to promote a spirit of partnership and sociability between all the participants, in the natural environment, away from the cities we are used to every day.

The wooden walkway built on the left bank allows you to enjoy the curves that go through the river and admire the magnificent landscape around. We will have the opportunity to cross bridge 516 – the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in the world. The pedestrian bridge has precisely 516 meters long and allows you to see the Garganta do Paiva, Cascata das Agueiras.

During the walk we will make several stops to explain the fauna and flora, to take pictures and relax enjoying nature.

It is a tour with moments of relaxation and great interaction between everyone.

During the tour the group will be surprised with a stop for a picnic with traditional Portuguese products.

We estimate about 4 hours of walking, depending on the size of the group and physical condition .
